The Boathouse and the Cottage are positioned on the waterfront side of the Labrador Landing compound which consists of a main house (streetside) and the Boathouse and Cottage on the bayside. The Cottage and Boathouse share a large deck which can be used for sunning on the cushioned teak steamer lounges or access to the bay. You may access the bay through a gate and down 5 steps onto the sand or into the water depending on the tide. Kayaks are available for use by our guests as well as a stainless steel multi burner grill and a large teak dining table which can seat up to 10 people. Enjoy incomprable vistas of Provincetown harbor, cape cod bay and Long Point lighthouse which marks the very tip of Cape Cod from each unit and all of the outdoor decks and patios of the two properties.
The Boathouse also enjoys a private bayfront deck directly in front of its french doored living room. Cushioned Adirondak chairs, a cocktail table, a long bench and market umbrella await to serve your every sun or shade desire.
The cottage offers a balcony off of the second story bedroom which is a lovely place to watch the renowned cape cod light reflect off the water. A brick patio with a bistro table is exclusive to the Cottage and sits in the shade of trees from a small garden adjacent to the Cottage patio.
Provincetown enjoys the highest tide differential on the East coast. The Provincetown bay tide rises 13 feet during the course of the tide change! What this means to our guests is that depending on whether the tide is high or low throughout the day, our guest enjoy water access directly from the Labrador Landing deck and steps to the bay or alternatively can walk out onto beach for several hundred feet and enjoy one of the nicest beach walks anywhere.
Throughtout the property you'll find beatiful roses, apple trees and seasonal plantings-- a private paradise but just a 10 minute walk to the center of the action in town!
